The only reason not to have self esteem is because you compare your past to other's past and believe it is worth less.
But what is the currency here? Do we all have a value that is set by our actions?
Perhaps that is why so many people look for money to fill up projected personal shortcomings.
There is no value. There is no price to your being it is merely a system devised by evolution to make you want to fit in, and survive.
As most other fears the fear of not fitting in is an illusion.
It does not matter anymore.
And if you think that self esteem is self love try this exercise. Could you love yourself if no one else existed?
The solution to this fear is loving others and learning that others will only judge you by projections of themselves so their judgment is based on their own fears.
Someone without social fear will not judge others and hence will not judge himself.
